WaterPIQ is intended to be a monthly review of a selected peer-reviewed paper on water resources management that has been highly cited, holds the potential for real-world applications or introduces a provocative view on water sciences. The review will highlight the main ideas of the paper in addition to potential real-world applications or technologies of the discussed methods or approaches that would benefit society as a whole or a specialized group such as farmers.
